Who This Program Helps

This program is intended for patients who have received a recent diagnosis of a life-threatening or complex medical condition and are facing financial barriers to starting their treatment. Examples include:

Cancer diagnoses (such as breast, lung, colon, pancreatic, leukemia, lymphoma, and more)
Advanced heart conditions (such as severe heart failure or the need for urgent cardiac surgery)
Neurological disorders (such as ALS, aggressive multiple sclerosis, or brain tumors)
Severe autoimmune diseases (such as late-stage lupus or scleroderma requiring aggressive immunosuppression)
Organ failure or transplant preparation (liver, kidney, heart)
Rare or progressive genetic disorders requiring complex interventions
Any condition with an immediate risk to life or significant decline in quality of life without treatment

What the Program Provides

Once accepted into the Pre-Treatment Support Program, recipients may receive financial assistance to cover:

Diagnostic imaging and pre-treatment testing
Specialist consultations and second opinions
Travel to treatment centers or specialists
Temporary lodging for patients and caregivers
Copays or deductibles required to initiate care
Immediate living expenses to reduce financial strain (rent, groceries, utilities) while treatment begins
